Marcus is Harrogate’s first Retrofit Coordinator and a Chartered Building Engineer with 25 years experience in property consultancy.
Owner/Director of local Building Surveying firm Progress Consulting and Technical Director of the national network Claimstech Ltd, he has built two successful consultancies and is at the forefront of the retrofit movement.
Charlie is a senior executive and business consultant with experience of contact centre implementations and large mission critical transaction processing solutions spanning over 30 years. He has successfully led several of these from “start-up” into full operations, including the development of their business models, employing staff, securing business premises, negotiating sub contracts and managing the implementation of technology and supporting operations.
Andy & Miranda Rickard are co-owners of Circular Ventures Ltd. Andy heads up the Sirkula brand, a sustainability consultancy supporting businesses from strategy, policies, and procedures through to carbon measurement and impact reporting. Andy acts as an outsourced Chief Impact Officer and supports the administrative and systems development of the CIC utilising twenty years’ experience in FD/MD roles and as a business consultant.
Miranda manages the EPiC Solutions brand which provides property energy assessments through her work as a Domestic Energy (EPCs) and Retrofit Assessor. Miranda’s interest in renewable energy heating systems began in 2008 when, as Finance Officer at Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, she successfully advocated for the installation of one of the UK’s first biomass boilers, an initiative which cut both carbon and heating costs by over 40%.
