Over £1 million of funding is avaliable for a variety of courses aimed at building professionals. These courses cover essential areas such as heat pump installation, solar PV installation, retrofit specifications, energy efficiency for older buildings, and various certifications for energy assessors and retrofit coordinators. Funding can be arranged through the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority for those living and working in North Yorkshire, with similar funding available through local authorities or the Energy Trust in other areas.
We partner with the Purehaus School of Excellence, offering specialised training in Passive House standards and low energy building. Elmhurst and Retrofit Academy CIC also provide top-notch training opportunities for all contractors and building professionals.
